Job Description:
Salary ranges from $61,000 - $65,000 annually depending on Experience and Qualifications.Position Summary:Opportunity to work with advanced network technology within a dynamic environment. Lead role in the centralized administration of Springbrook's integrated network infrastructure and security. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operation and support of Springbrook's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.Configure and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, RADIUS, routing and VLANs.Develop, document and follow network standards and procedures based on business requirements and industry best practices while maintaining security of enterprise data and regulatory compliance.Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including but not limited to network diagrams/configurations, detailed inventory, standard operating procedures (SOPs), site plans and technical specifications of all network equipment/infrastructure.Pull, install, label, terminate, and test low voltage and fiber optic cable as required. Install and manage network hardware and software solutions while documenting network changes, and incidents, maintaining accurate records and diagrams.Configure and validate managed network configurations for switches, routers, wireless access points and firewalls.Perform and maintain configuration backups of all network equipment.Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, perform log analysis, and optimize network configurations to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.Conduct regular network assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.Monitor network traffic and bandwidth utilization to identify, resolve performance bottlenecks and for signs of unauthorized access or security breaches and take appropriate action.Collaborate with IT Leadership to plan and implement small-to medium-sized routine projects, network upgrades, expansions, migrations, and network security policies and procedures while adhering to the change management policies and procedures and communicating to all parties the nature, significance, and risk factors of the change.Diagnose and troubleshoot service outages and/or degradation that may be isolated to a specific service provider, vendor, department, or building by using provided procedures and tools to restore services to Springbrook's network systems.Interface effectively with Springbrook customers, vendors and other members of the Information Technology team; maintaining relationships and clearly communicating with all parties.All other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge Requirements:Associate's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Five to seven (5-7) years of experience working on or with IT/Network infrastructure and/or wiring and associated protocols required. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, RADIUS, routing, etc.).Strong understanding of network security principles, practices, and technologies.Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nessus, etc.).Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Familiarity with network hardware and software vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Barracuda etc.).Ability to work individually, and within teams in a multifaceted organization.Commitment to customer service and inclusivity, including strong interpersonal skills.Possesses integrity, ethics and respect for confidentiality.Must have strong attention to detail, demonstrated resourcefulness, analytical ability, and ingenuity.Solid verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.Self-motivated and goal driven with a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a series of complex and interdependent work assignments.Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have an aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicle as required.Springbrook is an equal opportunity employer.
