Job Description:

I'm working on a new exciting opportunity with a banking client looking for a skilled ISO Relationship Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily administration and ISO support functions, speaking with businesses, annual reviews, contacting new vendors, contract amendments, and pricing and performance reviews. You will report directly to the VP ISO Relationship Officer.

****This role is required Onsite 5 days a week in Jericho, NY. No exceptions to this****

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the renewal process for Direct Agents and ISOs, ensuring contract changes are implemented as necessary.
  • Facilitate contract adjustments for Direct Agents and ISOs, including modifications for additional services or contract revisions.
  • Maintain and update Merchant Services Policies and Procedures for the ISO Support department.
  • Offer sales support for the acquisition of new BIN Sponsor ISOs and Direct ISO/Agents.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of ISOs and prepare executive summaries.
  • Conduct both initial and annual site visits for ISOs.
  • Draft memos and proposals concerning new customer acquisition and program development for existing clients.
  • Provide executive management support for Merchant Services.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of relationships with ISO business partners.
  • Coordinate BIN/ICA acquisition and initial setups for new or transitioning customers.
  • Monitor and assess the quality and performance of Direct Agents and ISO portfolios, providing recommendations to management.
  • Provide expertise on card brand rules and regulations governing customer-acquiring activities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5+ years of payment experience
  • Strong understanding of the merchant services industry, including payment processing, card networks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in managing contracts, including negotiations, amendments, and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Ability to provide sales support.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
