Ocean Fintech is a financial technology company that provides SMEs with innovative trade programs that help with their imports, inventory, and global supply chain. Ocean acts as a trading partner to provide businesses with international cross-border supply chain capital at a low, flat fee and no hidden charges. The company offers two structured programs, open credit and stock and release, to provide SMEs the ability to import physical goods from manufacturers overseas on open credit.

Role Description

This is a 6 month internship followed by a full-time remote Investor Relations role. The Investor Relations professional will be responsible for managing relationships with investment analysts and investors, communicating information about Ocean Fintech's financial performance and business prospects, maintaining the investor relations database, and preparing investor presentations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Investor Relations, Finance, and Investments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate investor events, including conferences, seminars, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks, investment memos, and other presentation materials for potential investors.
  • Assist in preparing for fundraising roadshows, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing logistics.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investors and business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify leads, prospects, and opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Support the preparation of investor presentations, pitch decks, and other materials.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with prospective investors and follow up on inquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining investor databases and CRM systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the investor relations and sales teams as needed.
