DESCRIPTION:Duties: Support senior relationship managers who cover the chief investment officers and portfolio managers of large life insurer clients. Compile and create asset allocation, credit, structured, and derivative investment portfolio peer analyses for clients, comparing and contrastinginvestment portfolios from numerous insurance companies. Plan and produce the annual Chief Investment Officer roundtable. Create presentation materials and attend meetings with Investor Client Management clients' CIOs, C-Suites, Management Committees and Boards of Directors. Work with internal partners across Markets, Platform, Credit, and Banking. Build and deliver insurance industry level analytics and data points to clients, demonstrating industry and market expertise to maximize the client's business strategy. Staying abreast of changes in the market, regulatory and technological landscape.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Actuarial Mathematics, Business Economics or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Investor Client Management, Actuary or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Actuarial Mathematics, Business Economics or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Investor Client Management, Actuary or related occupation.Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, macros, Index and Match, OFFSET, Nested IF, and VLOOKUP; Bloomberg Terminal; Visual Basic for Applications; two or more of the following life insurance and annuity products: whole life, universal life, variable life, variable annuity, fixed annuity, fixed indexed annuity, pension risk transfer and longevity reinsurance; insurance tactical asset allocation and investable asset classes; insurance and annuity liabilities; insurance asset liability management; insurance capital framework; insurance and annuity reserve regulations.Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 25% domestic travel.Full-Time. Salary: $200,000 - $206,000 per year.
