A recognized consultingservices firm in New York City is currently seeking a new Investment Banking Analyst to join their team in Manhattan . Responsibilities : The Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for:
- Preparing valuations (i.e. comparable analysis, DCF, sum of parts, etc.)
- Providing a high level of qualitative and quantitative financial modeling
- Ensuring that all material is accurate and complete
- Participating actively in client meetings
- Preparing pitch books to support the group's ongoing business development efforts
- Conducting business, industry, and capital markets research
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Investment Banking experience at a Financial Analyst-level
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Finance and/or a related field
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Banking products
- Solid understanding or experience in Distress / Restructuring or M&A
- Expertise in financial and computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg)
- Solid analytical, modeling, and quantitative skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attentionto detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Solid understanding / experience with Credit Analysis
- Experience with Big Bank, Middle Market Banks, and/or Boutiques
