A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Role SummaryThe Global Relationship Management Associate is an integral part of the Global Subsidiary Banking team (GSB). The Associate will act in the capacity of key support for the senior GSB Bankers, promote of global network businesses with multinational corporations (MNCs) in both outbound, US to Asia and inbound Asia to US.Responsibilities include:Analyze customer s financial status and recommend to Senior Bankers solutions for client s international corporate finance issues, with the goal to secure safe and profitable new business opportunitiesExecute the operational aspects of business origination as directed by senior GSB BankersConduct due diligence on proposed client dealsTroubleshooting & problem solving and transaction follow-throughCoordinate global deal team activity:Assist senior GSB bankers in liaising with clients HQs and their subsidiaries, MUFG branches overseas, product offices and credit departmentsPrepare pitch books, develop and maintain marketing materials and regulatory updates for global network business, coordinate client meetings and prepare call reportsPrepare Deal Screening packages and update Account PlansUpdate pipeline reports, perform portfolio profitability analysis, maintain Salesforce, and help develop other management tools to improve GSB businessPerform KYC and other compliance related activitiesEngage in special projects as directed by Head of GSB for the development of international network businessRequirementsUndergraduate degree in related field requiredA minimum of 3+ years related financial work-experienceStrong interpersonal communication skillsBasic banking product knowledge - LCs, FX, swaps, capital marketsCredit analysis skills & formal credit training preferredExcellent computer skills Excel, PowerPoint, database managementStrong interest in and exposure to international banking and multi-cultural environmentsLanguage skills in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc. is a decisive assetThe typical base pay range for this role is between $135K - $155K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role is also eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
