Our client, a top performing long/short equities market neutral hedge fund, is currently seeking an Investment Associate to help cover the following subsectors: Energy, E&P. The candidate MUST have at least 3 years of Sell-side research in refiners, large cap services, midstream, Canadian, and large cap international names. No more than 5 years of experience.
This individual will be responsible for assisting the PM in identifying and underwriting new and existing public market investments by conducting rigorous, bottoms-up fundamental analysis, developing and maintaining flexible financial models to be used to inform investment decisions, preparing investment memos, and attending investor conferences and management meetings.
The role can be based in New York (PM sits here) or remote with the flexibility to come to New York every so often.
