Job Title: Inventory Planning Specialist

Pay: $25.00-$26.99/hour (based upon experience)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday Friday // 40hrs/week

Location: ONSITE- NEW YORK, NY

Responsibilities:

• Oversee stock across stores and third-party platforms.
• Review stock levels and determine needs based on sales trends and seasonal factors.
• Forecast sales and inventory for core products.
• Identify items for promotions and determine their lifecycle.
• Make inventory recommendations based on e-commerce performance.
• Communicate inventory needs and updates with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and suggest deletions for low-performing D2C products.
• Initiate and process purchase orders, ensuring financial approval.
• Update stakeholders on incoming stock and coordinate with logistics teams.
• Be the main contact for logistics and customer service inquiries about stock.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of general business experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
• 2+ years of e-commerce experience in buying, planning, sales analysis, and/or forecasting.
• Experience managing data from multiple reporting systems.

Education/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of the music industry and garment production.
