Design Group is recruiting for an **Inventory Planner** in our Berwick, PAlocation.

In this role, the **Inventory Planner** will monitor inventory levels and execute the demand forecast for replenished SKUs, as well as maintain targeted fill rates by customer and product category.

This position will allow you to play an important role by placing requisitions to overseas suppliers, entering work orders for our manufacturing plants, and monitoring and expediting overseas shipments as needed. You will assist in setting priorities to be used in plant schedules and manage inventory levels within budgeted targets.

Analytical and problem solving skills are a must in this role as you will provide forecasts to suppliers as necessary, review excess and obsolete inventory to identify rework opportunities, and maintain targeted fill rates by customer and product category.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related field or equivalent combination of education and analytical experience. 1-3 years of experience in planning production in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.

The **Inventory Planner** will need to have an intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is preferred. Excellent communication skills are must at you will be communicating product availability, expected ship dates, and extension requirements from customers as needed to Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, and others.

Someone who is able to multi-task and quickly shift priorities would do well in this role.
