We are seeking a motivated individual with strong communication, leadership, logistic and inventory skills to fill an Inventory Management Analyst role at Grand Island Distribution Center. The analyst will manage and maintain accurate stocking levels of products to minimize customer backorders. The individual will work closely with the planning department to ensure onsite stocking levels support customer demand, as well as, the inventory team.

**Responsibilities include:**

* Develop and maintain accurate stocking levels in Warehouse based on customer demand

* Analyze demand reports to adjust onsite safety stock levels as needed

* Analyze volume reports to stage storage locations to improve efficiency

* Develop automatic reorder schedule where possible

* Monitor backorders to ensure stock is onsite

* Develop KPIs, tracks trends, and implements best practices. Report business metrics, targets and new opportunities

* Oversee the product flow between Warehouse and offsite storage to ensure customer needs are met

* Support inventory accuracy activities to achieve annual targets for Raw, WIP and Finished Goods.

* Improve consolidation process to streamline picking process and create efficiencies

* Participate in safety walkthroughs and safety improvement activities.

* Responsible offsite audit readiness and for participating in internal and external quality audits.

* Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring consistent and reliable processes and procedures comply with all regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

* Facilitate strong working rapport between Warehouse team, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Customer Service.

* Participate in expansion projects relating to product/material space in the Warehouse.

**Education**

* Associate Degree in Operations Management or related field OR a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of experience within a distribution/operations/supply chain environment.

**Experience**

* 5+ years of experience within a distribution/operations/supply chain environment.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**

* Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and establish goals, metrics, data and plans to achieve organizational objectives.

* Interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others, lead without authority.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external customers / suppliers; including success functioning as a change agent / team leader and team member in a multi-skilled, dynamic and matrix business environment.

* Knowledge of lean material concepts and application in warehousing and logistics.

* Knowledge MRP systems.

* MS-Office Capabilities (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
