**Description**

**GENERAL SUMMARY:**

Victorias Secret Beauty is looking for an Inventory Deployment Analyst (IDA) to join the team! The IDA executes the deployment of finished goods to various distribution centers and stores for an assigned book of business. The IDA will support optimum inventory levels and space initiatives to achieve targeted levels of inventory productivity, maximize sales and margins, and support overall profitability.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Pre-Season

* Formulate an inventory deployment plan that supports sales and margin goals

* Set and maintain store deployment parameters, taking into account constraints and inputs

* Confirm purchase parameters for each vendor/distribution center (i.e. lead time, order frequency, etc.)

* Incorporate order size and frequency into an inventory plan that meets sales, margin, inventory objectives

* Partner with the Merchandise Planner, D&D Analyst to prioritize flow of product in light of constraints

* Set strategies/parameters to achieve targeted service levels for vendors, distribution centers and stores

In-Season

* Propose revised orders and deployment of inventory, taking into account updated demand plans

* Manage solutions to exceptions that occur in the deployment process

* Partner with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory issues and proactively address constraints

* Identify system inputs from cross-functional teams impacting inventory fulfillment that require further updates to optimize flow

* Identify and address future inventory issues to reduce impact to the business, based on time-phased plan

Reporting/Analytics

* Review and analyze weekly store performance/inventory levels; recommend changes to forecasts

* Analyze past performance to identify opportunities and create corrective action for improving inventory management performance

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES:**

* Bachelors degree in business, operations, supply chain or a related field

* 0-3 years of inventory management, replenishment and allocation or store experience

* Technical proficiency in relevant systems, such as JDA Allocation / Fulfillment, EDW, SAP, Microstrategy, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access

* Ability to analyze and understand quantitative data to develop a point of view

* Keen attention to detail with strong organizational capability

* Proactive self-starter who takes initiative on assignments

* Confidence to work with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate best alternatives
