Job Summary: The Inventory Coordinator is the main point of contact for inventory matters along with being responsible for ensuring inventories are maintained and can support planned production and shipping operations to meet customer requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environment.
  • Analyze reconcile and process all inventory discrepancies/adjustments from cycle counts.
  • Reviews upcoming requirements to ensure supplies are available to support production.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by making data entries in accordance with established procedures.
  • Participate in customer and year end inventory audits.
  • Provide backup for other inventory control personnel as needed.
  • Meet monthly with the Logistics Manager to review and identify potential obsolete inventory and arrange for disposition as agreed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Experience & Education Required:
  • High School Diploma/ GED and a minimum of three-year inventory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with RFD Scanning equipment
  • Forklift experience preferred.
Confidentiality
  • The Inventory Coordinator is exposed to vendor and materials information that supports O-AT-KA's production requirements. A high degree of discretion is required for the incumbent in this role.
Management Responsibility
  • The Inventory Coordinator is an individual contributor and works within established process and guidelines under the general direction of the Warehouse Management Team
Work Environment
  • Majority of time spent in Warehouse environment. Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, fax, computer) as well as bend, reach and lift is required. Must be certified and capable of driving a fork truck to move packaging materials as needed. Must be able to see, hear, sit, stand, walk, climb and lift up to 55lbs.
Pay: $19.78 -$24.73 per hour* *The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
