Are you a communications professional, creative and passionate about explaining complex topics to employees? You have found the right team.As the Internal Communications Associate you will be responsible for supporting and, in some cases, leading communications initiatives for Global Sales & Research. This includes: writing a wide array of content for the intranet, drafting executive messages, talking points and proofreading as well as managing events such as town halls, leadership meetings and offsites. The internal communications team within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) develops communications programs that help ensure employees understand the business strategy, priorities and culture, and are engaged in leading results. You will have the opportunity to support various CIB-wide initiatives and partner with the global teams across Marketing & Communications. Job Responsibilities: Manage communications projects from beginning to end Partner with senior communications professionals to support senior executives within Global Sales & Research and the wider Corporate & Investment Bank Write content and messaging (intranet articles, e-mails, talking points and briefing documents, blogs, video content etc.) Learn about the function and the business in order to grow career and expand responsibilities Partner with marketing & communications colleagues globally to execute cross-discipline programs Assist in planning and executing town halls for senior executives, writing and distributing messagesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills: BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree with a minimum of 3 years recent experience in Marketing & Communications field, preferably in Corporate Communications; solid understanding of the financial services industry Well-developed strategic thinking, attention to detail and tactical execution skills Knowledge of corporate employee communications tactics and execution and strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively partner with direct management, team members and clients and to work well with all levels of employees Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives. High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general base familiarity. Additional software skills (Adobe, Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, HTML) a plusPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Experience supporting Sales & Research businesses
