**Interior Designer, Exhibition Design**

Office New York, New York Minimum Experience **Experienced** Compensation **25.00/hr** The Museum of Sex seeks a qualified architectural and design candidate to work directly with the creative director on all aspects of exhibition design, as well as other graphic design work. Applicants should have strong and versatile architectural design ability and sensibilities, thorough skills with standard industry design programs including AutoCad, Sketchup, and Adobe creative suite. They should have a minimum of three years experience working through the interior design process including design development, project management, material research and sourcing, production and installation. There will also be a focus on spatial graphic design and other graphic design projects. The candidate must be creative in the design process, possess attention to detail, multitask, and able to work efficiently and independently.

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for producing architectural working drawings, which include all details for the interior projects: Plans, elevations, millwork, tile, sections and RCPs

* Produce 3D drawings of all interior and exterior spaces for detailed design planning.

* Assist with and eventually spatial graphic design.

* Maintain / organize project files, schedules and specifications as well as sourcing materials and fixtures.

* Assist in construction supervision.

* Site surveys of existing conditions and producing drawings of same.

* Work with the team, in office and with outside consultants and vendors.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Interior Design or similar field.

* Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe Suite

* Hands-on experience and understanding of the design and construction process.

* Time management skills and ability to work in a fast past environment.

* Attention to detail
