Integrated Producer (Mid-level)

Deutsch NY

Location: New York,NY, USA

Date: 2024-05-05T03:23:49Z

Job Description:

As an Integrated Producer on Team Deutsch NY, you first possess a passion for production, a great aesthetic, and a creative sensibility. You LOVE to manage projects, regardless of medium - seriously this team is media/platform agnostic and all producers work across all project types. You are cool working across a variety of clients and brands. You know how to work closely with the Creative Team (you will be a part of the process from the beginning and not just an executor), Account Services, Project Management (your co-shepherd), Business Affairs, and Legal, all while managing concurrent projects (multi-tasking at its finest!).

On any given day, you may take the lead on smaller projects, co-manage larger initiatives with more senior producers, or help guide assistant producers. You are nimble and resourceful, with great industry relationships.

You are a culture junkie passionate about and constantly seeking out the latest trends. You manage a project from its inception to delivery of the finished product and closing/reconciliation of the job (that producer left brain/right brain/creative/business mind at work).

The long and short of it is, you live, sleep, and eat production and want to be in a kind and nurturing environment that feeds that drive, and encourages growth.

As with many agencies these days, we are shifting to more IRL collaboration in the office. Candidates must be willing to be in the NYC office 3 days a week.

WHAT YOU LL DO:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a production from inception through completion - including but not limited to content production, digital production, photography, and experiential production. The producer is the glue that keeps a project running smoothly on budget, and on time.
  • The producer is the centerpiece of every production, the liaison between production partners and all departments of the agency strategy, creative, account, and media. They are the experts and advisors to agency colleagues and clients on all production-related items shooting, editorial, finishing, animation, still photography, fabrication and studio services, and digital platform-specific features and specs.
  • Work closely with Business Affairs to ensure all proper legal requirements and paperwork are in order from risk assessment through final reconciliation of jobs.

WHAT YOU VE GOT:

  • 2-3 years of related work experience at an advertising agency
  • A keen eye for recognizing talent across many disciplines including but not limited to directors, DP s, illustrators, animators, editors, musicians, content creators, experiential partners, influencer networks, and stock search and licensing.
  • Basic knowledge of union guidelines, how to evaluate production (AICP), post-production bids (AICE), photography bids, and any other vendor bids, and ability to confidently negotiate.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects while staying calm and collected
  • Ability to pivot quickly and think on your feet
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to follow through
  • Detail-oriented (it's all about the little things that make or break a production)

SALARY RANGE:

  • $85,000 - $105,000; salary commensurate with experience
  • Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k
