Overview:

The Fixed Income Middle Office analyst is responsible for various daily operational trade processing functions and provides support throughout the trade life cycle. This role will primarily focus on New Issue securitized product support but will also be expected to assist other fixed income desks.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide trader/distribution support, including trade entry, trade reporting, and trade capture, collaborating with trading and distribution teams to resolve trade issues.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of treasury function and the process of funding new issues, as well as WI/Presale security setup and workflows.
  • Facilitate and process secondary and new issues, demonstrating knowledge of the trade life cycle, including netting trade settlement with Net Exchange exception screens, and efficiently resolving discrepancies.
  • Provide support for new issue syndicate operations throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
  • Maintain and manage static data security setup and creations across all fixed income products/systems.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of deal files.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in fixed income support is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of BBG, Euroclear, Clearstream, and DTCC.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of OFAC and KYC rules.
  • Basic understanding of FINRA, SEC, NFA, and MSRB rules.
  • Understanding of MiFID rules is a plus.
