Job Description SummaryThe Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAs the Industrial Mechanical Technician, you will:Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine strategy to repair and rebuildOwn preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order partsMaintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws including lubrication fluids and coolantApply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related mechanics including various machine tools, measurement devices, lathesRequirementsAssociate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with a Military Machinist Training CourseELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekendsAbility and willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)Desired Characteristics:Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance roleStrong mechanical and hydraulic fundamental and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO)The starting pay for this position is between $30.90 - $37.61 per hour. The top rate for this position is $37.61/hour. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.
