HR Manager

Location: Manhattan 10001 (Hybrid 4/1)

Salary: $100,000-115,000 per year DOE

Our client, a leading establishment in the entertainment and food & beverage industry, is seeking an HR Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive employee experience, managing employee relations, and providing HR support. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in hospitality or related industries to contribute to a vibrant culture and help shape HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations for a diverse employee population.
  • Handle multiple escalated cases simultaneously, demonstrating a high level of expertise in conflict resolution and mediation.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations issues, document findings, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for General Managers, providing guidance on HR-related matters and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Assist with reviewing and creating data reports, policy and handbook revision, compliance, and managing an internal employee inbox.
  • Produce routine reports including headcounts, hires, and terminations.
  • Research and implement internal programs that strengthen employee/employer relations.
  • Support learning and development life cycle: assessment, planning, training, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or food & beverage environment.
  • Strong background in employee relations, and HR generalist duties, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
