A reputable and award-winning restaurant group is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR administration, emphasizing compliance, compensation, culture enhancement, safety, performance management, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should be an organized leader capable of collaborating with various levels of management and setting a positive example. Extensive knowledge of management-labor relations and HR management principles is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR programs: oversee onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, disputes, investigations, performance management, talent development, employee engagement, safety, and training.
- Handle employee relations: address conflicts, conduct investigations, resolve disputes, and manage performance issues.
- Provide HR advice: support management by analyzing information and offering counsel aligned with company policy and business objectives.
- Administer compensation: assist in annual wage and salary reviews and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance: stay updated on employment laws, maintain consistent practices, coordinate employee engagement programs, and maintain open communication with departments.
Skills/Requirements:
- 5 years HR experience, preferably in hospitality, with at 1 year in HR management.
- Prefer experience with predominantly non-exempt workforce.
- Bachelor s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Must excel in organization, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills essential; excellent communication skills necessary.
- Office presence required 5 days a week; proficiency in Microsoft Office expected.
