Job Description:

At Sunnking, we are focused on the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of end-of-life electronic equipment. We have been at the forefront of the electronics recycling industry since its early stages of development more than 25 years ago and continue as pioneers of the recycling industry.

We are seeking an energetic Employee Experience Manager for our exciting and growing company. This role will serve to support our team throughout their employment life cycle. Overview:

Our Employee Experience Manager will maintain and enhance Sunnking s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager (or similar role); minimum 5 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and experience leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and present HR metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office 365.

Preferred Skills:

  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Able to foresee the needs of the HR department and accomplish associated tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, improves, and implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, such as:
  • Talent acquisition
  • Staffing
  • Employment processing
  • Compensation
  • Health and welfare benefits
  • Training and development
  • Records management
  • Employee relations and retention
  • EEO compliance
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
    • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
    • Improve and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
    • Stay up to date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
    • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
    • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims.
    • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency and efficacy of the department.
    • Assist accounting department with weekly payroll in payroll vendor, currently Paylocity. Eventual transition to completing the payroll process each week.
    • Manage attendance calendar, call-in-sick line, and email managers with daily attendance results.
    • Communicate with temporary staffing agencies daily to ensure proper staffing levels.
    • Submit temporary staffing weekly payroll to the staffing agencies.
    • Complete verification of employment forms and requests.
    • Assist with the preparation of documentation for workers compensation and unemployment insurance claims.

    • Help to organize various company activities.
    • Additional duties not listed above that management deems necessary for this position.
