To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Generalist's primary duties include, but are not limited to: Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans Facilitates onboarding process for new hires including new hire orientation and creates plans to ensure employee retention Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs Manage and process payroll functions Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems Assist with all leaves of absences including FMLA and manage the return-to-work process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is highly preferred 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Experience in handling employee relations issues Familiarity with HR sourcing tools, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
