Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist with at least 7 years of progressive experience in human resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the following HR functions: Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Benefits Administration, and HR compliance.
Additionally, the Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in assisting with the onboarding process of employees from a newly acquired company.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions and facilitate the onboarding process for employees joining the company, with a focus on those from a recent acquisition.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support various HR initiatives and projects, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, employee engagement surveys, and talent management programs.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, proactively updating policies and practices to remain compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a corporate setting.
- Experience managing employee relations issues and providing coaching to managers and employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Prior experience in supporting onboarding efforts for employees from a new acquisition is highly desirable.
