This NYC based non-profit is seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team and lead all aspects of HR functions. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization's mission and objectives.*Client Details*This dynamic and impactful nonprofit organization dedicated to social services for at-risk communities is hiring for the HR team. Based in the heart of New York City, their team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they serve.*Description** *Talent Acquisition:** Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition plans to attract top talent aligned with the organization's goals.* Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.* Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.* *Performance Management:** Design and implement performance management systems and processes to drive employee engagement and productivity.* Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and goal setting.* Develop strategies for recognizing and rewarding employee contributions.* *Succession Planning:** Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop internal talent for key roles within the organization.* Work closely with department heads to assess future leadership needs and create development plans for high-potential employees.* *Learning and Development:** Design and oversee learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.* Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement.* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.* *HR Policy and Compliance:** Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.* Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.* Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.* *Employee Relations:** Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances.* Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and respect.*Profile** Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).* 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.* Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.* Experience in nonprofit organizations preferred.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.* SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.*Job Offer*This role offers competitive compensation (80-115K) and very comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 403b with a match, and PTO.
