A formal home, in Midtown Manhattan, needs to hire an extremely meticulous Housekeeper/Laundress for a large four bedroom apartment. All candidates must be detailed housekeepers, exacting laundresses, (ironing shirts, sheets, linens, etc.) and have previous experience in very formal homes. Responsibilities include: all deep-cleaning duties (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.), laundry, ironing, caring for fine items such as art work, special-made rugs, polishing silver, light sewing and preparing light meals when the family is in town. All applicants must be dog-friendly and open to pet care when the family is in town. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and willing to occasionally wear a uniform. The schedule is Monday Friday from 8am-5pm but flexibility to work more hours is needed when the family is in the home. Immediate start.
