Entry-Level POS Help Desk Technician in the Syracuse NY area

Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline support for restaurant staff encountering Point of Sale (POS) system issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to POS terminals, printers, scanners, and payment processing devices.
  • Assist in configuring and installing POS software updates and patches.
  • Document and escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or vendors when necessary.
  • Educate restaurant staff on basic troubleshooting techniques to minimize recurring problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions.
  • Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Point of Sale systems and restaurant operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
