Key Qualifications:
  • 2-year degree in Computer Science (or related) or minimum 3 years' experience required (will consider combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum 3 years management experience required
  • Clean & valid driver's license required (this position requires occasional travel)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations of the helpdesk
  • Create & manage escalation procedures and ensure service levels are maintained
  • Manage helpdesk tickets & incidents to ensure timely completion of open items
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner
  • Determine/resolve or escalate assigned problems and update helpdesk as required
  • Assist Systems and Network Manager in documenting, maintaining, and testing of disaster recovery procedures
Support LAN/WAN users to ensure and enhance company communications and availability of information
  • Understand & assist users with network and PC applications
  • Ensure user problems are answered
  • Supporting all systems and functions on assigned weekends
  • Ensure all network backups are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist Systems and Network Manager with hardware and software installs
  • Maintain end users accounts and privileges on H.O. Penn's corporate systems
Staff and develop people to achieve all key results
  • Build & maintain environment characterized by high productivity and high morale
  • Select people through effective use of HDW process
  • Effectively manage employee performance (goal-setting, providing feedback, coaching, timely reviews, recognition, holding people accountable, etc.)
  • Develop people to consistently achieve or exceed job expectations
  • Ensure a culture of safety through ongoing communication, timely completion of safety initiatives, and reinforcing safe work habits
Provide critical function backup in computer operations to support all stakeholders
  • Provide coverage in absence of other operations personnel
  • Resolve network, PC, and printer problems
  • Work with different service providers at a technical level
  • Notify management of any discrepancies or problems
  • Develop and implement solutions for special network related projects
Qualifications:
