Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: New York State
Salary: $130k + bonus
A company specializing in Machine Tools solutions is hiring a Sales Manager to organize and oversee all sales functions in the USA and Canada, ensuring maximum distribution of the company's products.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the sales organization, working closely with department and product managers, agents, and direct sales personnel.
- Develop and execute short and long-term marketing policies, plans, and programs to achieve sales objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create effective advertising and sales promotion programs.
- Determine sales policies and contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies.
- Maintain close communication with corporate sales and engineering departments to drive new product development.
- Analyze performance against forecasts, budgets, and marketing objectives, taking proactive measures to address challenges.
- Accompany managers or sales engineers in negotiations for closing important accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and prospects to understand market requirements and address complaints effectively.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and develop plans for achieving sales objectives.
- Review and optimize departmental policies, procedures, and staffing to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for subordinate personnel to foster growth within the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
