About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 15 The Team: The Markets Business Segment within Enterprise Solutions powers the capital formation and investment lifecycle process for public and private markets. Join the dynamic team responsible for the iLEVEL Portfolio Monitoring, Reporting and Analytics Solution for the Private Markets. Our private markets offerings provide dynamic and scalable portfolio monitoring solutions and services that enable investors to increase visibility and transparency, generate insights, optimize deal management, and achieve operational efficiencies. Our solutions are the premier industry choice to address growing pressures for transparency and regulatory compliance for Limited Partners, Investment Advisors, and Asset Managers. Position: S&P Global is seeking a leader who is highly experienced in private markets and software and services to join our senior leadership team leading iLEVEL. As an ideal candidate, you've previously led strategy formulation, commercial execution, business development, and executed day-to-day activities within private markets. You possess a detailed understanding of the market landscape across segments (Limited Partners, Investment Consultants, and General Partners) including areas of opportunity, challenges, industry trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics. You're a motivated and accomplished people leader who thrives on creating a climate of inclusion, trust, and productivity with ability to transform businesses and processes to drive growth. Duties & Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial strategy for iLEVEL and our private markets solution suite, in line with company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Partner with product teams to drive innovation, influence roadmap, design and implementation of new workflow and data products
  • Establish and grow relationships with our global clients and lead commercial market facing activities with clients, regulators & industry groups as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader
  • Enable sales and drive go- to-market strategy
  • Source partnerships and inorganic opportunities to drive revenue
  • Work cross functionally, and influence across teams
  • Build, develop and lead a high performing team of key SMEs globally who collaborate effectively with partners across product management, sales, etc
  • Lead monthly revenue forecasting and budgeting process
  • Identify new areas of growth for private markets solutions (new markets, services offerings, product offerings, etc.)
  • Build and maintain trusted and credible relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Understand our offerings, how they create value for customers and where the industry is moving, and contribute to strategic direction of as member of senior leadership
  • Act as a culture carrier within S&P Global
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $204,000 to $423,600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.   • Master's degree in business, management, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Deep relationships across private markets
  • Previous experience developing and executing strategy and leading teams
  • Outstanding poise in a fast-paced and demanding business environment
  • Senior Executive presence
  • Strong financial acumen with track record of success managing a budget and track record of delivering revenue results
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15+ years' experience within private markets and financial technology
  • Demonstrated track record working across technology, data and information systems software
  • Analytical mindset with strong commercial focus
  • Prior financial services industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of relevant trends
