The People Accounting Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE) supports the HCM division with advanced headcount and compensation analytics and is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting critical business solutions and processes. Team members possess strong technical skills and have the ability to translate functional business requirements into BI solutions, including the Anaplan platform.

The HCM Anaplan Architect (Master Anaplanner) will provide architectural guidance and establish best practices for Anaplan across initiatives within HCM. The ideal candidate will also mentor other Anaplan model builders apart from have a deep understanding of Anaplan platform. The candidate will also have a good understanding of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, headcount planning, spend management and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The HCM Anaplan Architect (Master Anaplanner) will provide architectural guidance and establish best practices for Anaplan across initiatives within HCM. The ideal candidate will also mentor other Anaplan model builders apart from have a deep understanding of Anaplan platform. The candidate will also have a good understanding of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, headcount planning, spend management and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing governance across the Anaplan platform within HCM
  • Define standards and best practices in Anaplan.
  • Provide technical direction to all model builders in implementation of various Anaplan projects
  • Provide direction and leadership in promoting and implementing best-practice solutions in Anaplan (business processes and application functionality)
  • Review statistics, validate or challenge the way things have always been done and identify areas for process and/or support tool improvements and efficiencies
  • Leverage business process knowledge and expertise in Anaplan area to drive business process improvements
  • Work with business analysts and Architects to convert business problems

Skills and Experience were looking for:

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with minimum 3+ years of relevant Anaplan experience and minimum 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience
  • Certified in Anaplan. Master Anaplanner is preferred
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and other BI tools is preferred
  • Experience with Financial Planning and Modeling is preferred

  • Able to translate technical data capabilities to an operational and financial audience
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Articulate issues clearly and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Listen well and be receptive to others' ideas and suggestions, encouraging open and collaborative dialogue among team members

Risk Management

  • Articulate operational and risk impacts related to a specific task or procedure
  • Implement controls to proactively manage risks in this domain (e.g. entitlement; data proliferation control etc.)

Client Focus

  • Identify client needs and appropriately work to understand the foundations of great client experience, while leveraging available internal tools to provide the best service possible
  • Establish, cultivate and leverage relationships to identify and execute on process enhancements
