Brief DescriptionFresh Direct is currently seeking a Ground Operations Assistant for our Chill department in the New York area. The Ground Ops Assistant is responsible for receiving, storage, inventory, and replenishment of products while ensuring our good manufacturing practices are being followed. Other responsibilities may include flexibility to work in other departments picking and packing and/or loading trucks.Responsibilities and Working Conditions:

Processing all goods deliveries quickly and accurately, using our warehouse management system via RF Guns and computers to complete all required transactions.

Manually moving products between reserves locations and pick bins.

Stocking pick bins and reserves with product based off work assignments via our warehouse management system.

Working to or exceeding standard rates for activities set forth by management team.

Ability to use manual pallet jacks, u boats, dollies, and other manual material handling equipment.

Organizing and rotating products based off of FIFO while keeping work areas cleaned and organized.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

In a work day: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more

Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.

Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.

Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
