Grants Manager

Salary Range: $85-100K per year
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: The ideal candidate is in the NYC-metro area and will work onsite most days at our center in East Harlem. We are open to a fully remote hire from outside the NYC-metro area if they are an outstanding match.
Position Overview: Reporting to LSA s Chief Executive Officer, LSA s Grants Manager is responsible for maximizing LSA s institutional giving and public revenue fundraising performance and achieving its institutional giving and public revenue fundraising goals. The Grants Manager will be part of a 5-person Development team securing $5m+ annually. Critical to this role will be building and implementing a multi-year plan to increase all institutional giving and public revenue sources to support the long-term sustainability of the organization. This will include stewarding and growing relationships with LSA s current institutional and public revenue donors, building new relationships with potential donors, and reactivating lapsed donors to secure five to seven-figure donations for LSA. Additionally, the Grants Manager will have a unique opportunity to build and expand LSA s revenue base from corporations, and work with LSA s Director of Volunteers to convert corporate volunteers into a key source of financial support and revenue diversification. LSA s ideal candidate has 7-10 years of experience in institutional giving, with a demonstrated ability to meet goals and close on five to seven-figure gifts from foundations, corporations, and/or public revenue sources.
