Propel have partnered with a dynamic generative AI start-up business which has rapidly grown from a 2-person founding team to a thriving workforce of over 100 in just 4 years, including a strategic expansion into the US market.

They specialise in simplifying the complex landscape of government grants and funding opportunities, with a proven track record of streamlining the process for time-strapped technology enterprises across various industries.

Having raised over $150m to date, their unique approach enables businesses to secure substantial government funding (up to seven figures) in significantly less time, surpassing industry norms by an impressive eightfold.

About the role

You are a skilled and motivated Writer and are seeking a remote-first role where you will play a crucial part in the impactful conversion of deals related to Grants and similar initiatives. Reporting to our Lead Consultant, you will contribute to their mission of simplifying the funding process for businesses and creative ideas.

Responsibilities:

Grant Review and Editing: - Assess and enhance grant proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. - Edit proposals for clarity, persuasiveness, and alignment with grant guidelines.

Communication and Collaboration: - Work closely with applicants, gathering information and clarifying proposal details. - Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and team for comprehensive grant applications.

Quality Assurance: - Implement quality assurance processes for high-standard grant applications. - Provide constructive feedback to applicants for continuous improvement.

Research and Stay Informed: - Stay updated on industry trends, government guidelines, and funding opportunities. - Integrate new information into the grant review process to enhance the expertise.

Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain detailed records of grant applications, reviews, and outcomes. - Generate reports on grant success rates and potential enhancements.

About You:

  • Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written)
  • Interest in tech and innovation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively with people at all levels in an organisation
  • Interest in business, entrepreneurial, technical, or STEM-related content
  • Ability to quickly understand and appreciate underlying business contexts, problems and objectives
  • Outstanding personal motivation and time management with a hands-on, action-oriented approach
  • Experience or exposure to public grants in the field of technology (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and project management software tools such as Basecamp, Trello or Monday.com (desirable)

The successful candidate will be US based and must be based and have the right to work in the US. They cannot offer the role to anyone living outside the US or anyone who requires sponsorship to work in the US.
