Role: Grant Biller Location: New York, NY Pay Rate Range: $27 - $32 / Hour Internal Job ID: 10019683Harlem NFP is looking for a Grants Analyst, this position will assist with budgets, processing monthly billing, partnering with accounts payables, and program management to ensure full utilization of all contracts and maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Job Responsibilities:
- Operational and Compliance Reporting: The accountant will prepare monthly billings for our Department of Homeless Services (DHS), HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA), and New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DoHMH).
- Transactional Reviews: Working with various members of the organization, the accountant will assure that transactions are being recorded properly. This includes accounting for time allocations among projects, grants and contracts and reconciling revenues and expenses in a timely fashion.
- Prepare support and analyses for auditors
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with 3-5 years of government grants and contracts accounting experienceExperience in accounting in a multi-service non-for-profit organization is a plusStrong analysis, attention to detail and financial reporting skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Excel - Financial Edge Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
