Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management (AWM F&BM) has a new opening for a Business Manager based in New York. This position willreport directly to the Global Head of Solutions Business Management with dotted line accountability to the Global Head of Deposits and Custody. The Deposits and Custody team ensures clients take full advantage of their banking relationships with J.P. Morgan through safekeeping of assets, strategic cash management and proper account structure. As the Deposits and Custody Business Manager, you will be part of a global team with a presence in New York, London, Geneva, Hong Kong and India within the Deposits and Custody organization. You will partner closely with the business head and manage strategic initiatives, prepare analyses for leadership presentations and support day-to-day activities. You will also collaborate closely with partners in Sales, Finance, Control Management, Marketing, Technology and Client Service.Job responsibilities: Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis. Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps and project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as SharePoint Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills: An interest in business management, project management, and business analysis Knowledge of global markets and solutions used by affluent or high net worth individuals and families Ability to understand and analyze business processes, products, and initiatives to identify risks, improve processes, and develop innovative solutions Ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables concurrently and execute within deadlines and experience in presenting priorities, initiatives and updates to senior management Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 8+ years working experience preferredAs a member of AWM Finance and Business Management, you are an integral part of our efforts to strategically manage capital, lead growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk.
