GLOBAL INVESTMENT RESEARCH

From macroeconomic forecasts to individualstock analysis, our team develops tools and insights to help shape investment strategies for clients and the firm. Our analysts work on client-focused research in the equity, fixed-income, currency, and commodities markets, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. Youll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Working closely with the Senior Analyst and other members of the team, the goal of the Associate is to:

• Build strong industry knowledge of the Capital Markets sector, including Traditional and Alternative Asset Managers, Trust Banks, Brokers and Exchanges
• Write reports/notes on companies under coverage
• Update and build sophisticated financial models and work with large data sets
• Manage the teams data infrastructure, including industry and company specific files
• Interpret data and perform analysis on market, economic and technology trends
• Communicate with the equities sales force and traders, clients and company managements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to perform financial statement, business and valuation analysis
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and creative skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of equity research
• Demonstrated interest or previous experience in the financial services sector
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
• Demonstrated ability to think laterally and exercise good judgment
• Ability to multi-task and work with numerous teams
