Gift Processing Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Gift Processing Specialist for our client, a nonprofit doing amazing work in the clinical research space in Manhattan, New York! This is a full-time, onsite, permanent opportunity!

With offices in the Upper East Side, this is an excellent opportunity for a mission-driven professional who's excited to support groundbreaking research by internationally renowned scientists!

What you will be doing:

• Entering donations and gifts into Salesforce
• Monitoring all incoming donations and reconciling them with the finance team
• Following up with donors about recurring donations
• Ensuring timely and accurate gift processing of securities
• Researching and identifying donation details in multiple platforms; reviewing fees associated with checks and records gross amounts and accurately enters data for all platforms
• Preparing major, lapsed, and prospective donor profiles for management cultivation strategy

What you will need:

• 2+ years of experience in fundraising and development
• Experience with Salesforce is desired
• Ability to work fully onsite in Manhattan NYC
