A financial firm is looking for a GenAI Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.
Compensation: $200-300k
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI prompt techniques
- Experiment with hyperparameter tuning for large language models in different applications, including software and code generation
- Prompt, finetune, and chat with LLMs and understand how to produce best output
- Improve prompts based on performance testing and user feedback
- Perform data analysis to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement practical and measurable performance criteria for evaluating prompt and model performance
- Work with engineering and product teams to integrate prompts into applications and collaborate to identify and solve technical challenges and implement innovative solutions
- Keep up to date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering and bring new ideas to the team
- Write clear and concise technical documentation for models, algorithms, software tools and proof of concept use cases
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on working with large language models and prompt engineering
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially in language modeling
- Experience with architecture and operation of large language models and generative models such as GPT, BERT, or T5
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
