Description
Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a P&L Reporting Analyst to join our P&L Reporting team. The analyst will be responsible for Daily P&L NAV Reporting, Monthly NAV Finalization, as well as any other ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities
Daily P&L and NAV Reporting:
* Detailed P&L calculations by instrument, strategy, and account
* Daily reconciliation and regular communication with the independent administrator
* Daily fee calculations, NAV generations and ROR calculations
* Monitor real-time P&L meter to ensure accuracy of displayed portfolio valuations
* Preparation of daily P&L reports sent to portfolio managers, upper management, and investors
* Daily communication with portfolio managers and other departments within the firm including Trading Services, Investor Services, and Legal
* Calculation of final Net Asset Values and Net Asset Value per Share
Monthly NAV Finalization:
* Review of administrator generated NAV package and reconciliation to internal records
* Final compounded ROR calculations
* Review street-side reconciliations to ensure that all breaks have been cleared
* Preparation of monthly fee invoices
* Maintenance of track records sent to investors and various regulatory agencies
Other:
* Work with technology team to test and automate reporting functionality to meet the ever-changing needs of executives, portfolio managers, and other departments within the firm
* Miscellaneous tasks appropriate for the role and business requirements
Requirements
* BA or BBA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from accredited university
* 4 - 6 years related experience
* Advanced user of Word, Excel, and Windows
* Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment which requires prioritization and the ability to multi-task
* General knowledge of securities and derivatives
* Basic knowledge of Bloomberg and VBA a plus
* Understanding of fund accounting a plus
Our current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our Rowayton, CT office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $150,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.
Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
