For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.Currently, we are seeking two passionate and creative teachers to join our team in Rochester, NY on a full-time basis for the summer and the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.Teacher # 1 open to working with the pediatric grade level students.Teacher # 2 open to working with the adolescent grade level students.Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00pm.   • B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
  • State teaching license or the ability to obtain one
  • Comfortable working with pediatric or adolescent students
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
  • Reliable Transportation
