While one of the co-founders previously built a unicorn healthcare startup, BIOVERSE is a lean, flat culture where everyone s perspective is valued. We are working hard to ensure patients can access high-quality longevity treatments anywhere. This means working Monday through Friday in the office. Hours tend to be longer than at most companies because we work hard to serve our patients and ensure that we can achieve our mission to improve health and longevity, making science-backed longevity treatments accessible to all.

We are currently seeking a full-time Full Stack Software Engineer/Front-End React Focus. This is a full-time and in-person position located in New York. If you are looking for a remote or hybrid position, this is not the right fit for you.
The role involves
- You will start as a Full-Stack Software Engineer for BIOVERSE, joining a team of 2 full-time founding full-stack engineers. You will also collaborate closely with the Founder / CEO (who oversees the product).
- Working with a co-founder who doesn't have a technical background. If you re unable to work with leadership that doesn't have a technical background, you re not the right person for this role
- You will move quickly to iterate on the existing, early product build to ensure that it is ready to scale to users and transform access to longevity treatments
- You will work in person in our New York office, participate in daily standup meetings and weekly sprint meetings, and hold yourself accountable to an aggressive product development roadmap.
- We are an early-stage startup, and often, that comes with wearing many hats, which means working across front-end and back-end as well as potentially participating in or leading system architecture or DevOps decision-making.
- As the organization scales, you can step into a leadership role if your performance is strong and you wish to become a leader. This will not need to be decided on Day 1; it will be an evolving conversation between you and the co-founders.

About You
- 3+ years in an engineering position at early-stage high-growth startups
- Able to see a problem from both the product and business perspectives. If you are only able to see problems from a technical/engineering perspective, you re not the right fit for this job.
- Strong technical background with experience in full-stack development and front-end react focus
- Experience working with NextJs, Typescript, Supabase, MUI components and tailwind
- You are incredibly detail-oriented, documenting every step of the way, especially front-end work, so other
engineers can effectively lead the back-end
- Relentless resourcefulness and an ownership mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability
- Always learning and curious; open to new ideas and experimentation.
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
- Strong desire to be a part of a fast-paced startup.
- Able to work onsite in New York City.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
