About Vantage:Vantage is a cloud cost visibility and optimization platform, alternatively known as a FinOps platform. We help companies of all sizes manage their cloud infrastructure costs: everything from individual developers all the way up to multiple Fortune 500 customers. Our co-founders are industry veterans who have been former infrastructure engineers and product managers at DigitalOcean and AWS. The company is an efficient and hard working team of ~30 employees across the US with a New York City center of gravity. This includes the core reporting experience, new provider integrations and onboarding/billing. The team is fast paced and is constantly shipping to production.What You Will Do:
- Work directly with our founders and collaborate on feature discovery, ideation and delivery.
- Write clean, testable, peer-reviewed code
- Drive technical architecture decisions to set the groundwork as Vantage scales into the future
- Own end-to-end feature development - including measuring and reporting on customer impact
- Join Design and Product on customer calls to understand user needs
What We're Looking For:
- A product-oriented engineer with a passion for listening to and delighting customers
- Strong technical background, including 3 - 5 years of experience working on full stack codebases
- Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale.
- Expertise in Ruby and Rails
- Software design experience with architectures that have scaled from the simple to the complex
- Someone excited to make progress and hold a high degree of responsibility.

Pay & BenefitsThe estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and education stipends.
