LMC have partnered with a dynamic smart buildings tech startup, and who are on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join their Frontend team.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Software Engineer on the Frontend team you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of their flagship product. You will work closely with other Engineering teams and Product Managers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 2-3 years of development experience who is looking to learn from the wealth of experience we already have in place on the team, while also having a significant role in delivering code within a startup environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write code as a key contributor to both customer-facing and internal-facing applications.
- Help improve and maintain their code quality through tests and code audits/reviews.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for their technology, algorithms, and products.
- Work with the Product team to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate findings into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and new technologies.
- Provide support to team members and participate in an ongoing knowledge exchange so that everyone learns from each other.
- Diagnose technical problems and resolve issues quickly and cleanly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 2+ years production-level application development
- Experience with React preferred, or willing to transition from another major FE framework
- Proficient in Javascript (Typescript would be ideal)
- Well-versed in HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of Node.JS, Webpack, and Git
- Experience with Accessibility and Internationalization a plus
