About the Role:
We re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Platform team at our partner company, where you'll spearhead the development of key infrastructure and patterns, facilitating the seamless delivery of features. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your focus will include:
- Innovation through infrastructure:
- Empowering product teams to explore possibilities beyond monolithic architectures.
- Elevating security standards:
- Leading efforts to exceed regulatory compliance requirements and proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Strategy: Shape engineering culture and strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align technical direction with company objectives.
- Technical Excellence: Champion quality throughout the development process, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-standard software solutions.
- Developing Peers: Foster a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing, supporting team members through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 5 years of software experience with a focus on infrastructure, including at least 2 years in infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
- Demonstrated success in transitioning product teams to serverless and microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with external audit/compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, PCI) and AWS Cloud fundamentals.
- Strong commitment to improving DORA metrics and driving technical excellence.
