Job Title: Financial Investigations AnalystLocation: New York, NY Pay Range: $50-$55/hr on Experis' W2Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Contract: 6 months - all applicants must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly; we are unable to work with 3rd party suppliers on this roleWhat's the Job?As a Financial Investigations Analyst at, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization against financial crimes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth investigations into suspicious financial activities, identify potential risks, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate and prevent financial fraud.What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial investigations, fraud detection, or a related field within the financial industry.
- Strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and other relevant compliance standards.
- Proficiency in using investigative tools, financial software, and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, such as SQL, SAS, or similar.
