Responsibilities
- Heavy phone contact with Financial Advisors and branch office personnel.
- Proficiently utilize all Advisory support applications as well as navigate other system tools.
- Provide proactive education and assistance on Advisory programs with respect to product, policies, procedures, and systems navigation.
- Assist with questions involving new account opening procedures, generation of proposals for active clients or prospects, trading of accounts and training on various program policies and guidelines.
- Drive process improvement efforts through feedback to Department management.
- Work collaboratively with team members by managing call volume and service levels while providing outstanding service.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management systems effectively.
- Participate in FSS cross training programs to broaden depth of knowledge across Advisory programs.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Bachelor s degree in either Economics or Finance (course work should involve investments - stocks, bonds, ETF s & Mutual funds, investment portfolio construction, Asset Allocation theory)
- Professional experience in Financial Services. Preferably in areas dealing with investments (stocks, bonds, ETF s & Mutual funds) is a plus but not required.
- Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and efficient communicator
- Ability to build relationships across departments throughout the firm
- Result oriented individual who is flexible and able to adaptable to change
- Strong focus on customer service
