Internship-Financial Aid AssistantPart TimeThe Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a part time Financial Aid Assistant for a part time, paid internship-this is a unique opportunity for a motivated student to obtain real-world experiencein finance and aging services.Working closely with the Financial Aid/Medicaid Department and the Patient Accounts Team in Finance, the Financial Aid Assistant will provide key support to the finance team while gaining valuable work experience by assisting with reports and special projects, clerical support, and other key tasks related to resident accounts and financial aid assistance in the department. - Undergraduate or graduate students looking for hands-on experience working in Finance
- Familiar with using Excel
- Excellent communication skills; able to work with and communicate effectively and pleasantly with team members, residents, family members
