With a dedication to excellence, we are looking to expand our finance team by welcoming an experienced Finance/Accounting Manager to contribute to our continued success.

Finance/Accounting Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance/Accounting Manager to join our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations. Significant accounting/finance experience in NetSuite is a requirement, as the ideal candidate will become Cartessa s SME for finance/accounting in NetSuite.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable and Receivable team
  • Develop and enhance accounting/finance processes in NetSuite
  • Serve as primary NetSuite subject matter expert for Finance Department
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collection
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of checking accounts, investigating, and resolving discrepancies
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including the preparation of monthly cash account reconciliations
  • Administer and oversee the processing of employee commission payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation and filing of monthly sales tax returns
  • Generate ad hoc financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with various departments to address financial inquiries and resolve interdepartmental issues
  • Foster effective communication and cooperation between the finance department and other teams
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting analysts
  • Support in month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Significant experience working in NetSuite
