This is a growing company that is looking for a technician to learn under an experienced team and to take over a book of business as continue the company growth.This client is a fluid power distributor of hydraulic, pneumatic and automation products with capabilities including stocking inventory, engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, service, repair, and installation. They represent brands such as Bosch Rexroth, SMC, Hydac, Eaton, Omron, and other major fluid power and automation product lines and have been in business for over 70 years.They are looking for a Field Service Technician. In this role you will perform the installation, repair and troubleshooting of moderate to complex hydraulic equipment and systems at a customer's worksite. They need folks with a mechanical background that are comfortable with installation/repair of hydraulic systems, pumps/valves/ and so on. You will learn under a Senior Level Technician who is looking to retire over the next few years. Travel assignments are in/around the greater Buffalo area, with some overnight and extended periods away.Responsibilities:- Assist Senior Field Technician with installing, repairing, and performing diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of moderate to complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components or systems at customer worksites- After training, perform preventative maintenance services to hydraulic power units- When necessary, the candidate may be responsible for assisting system/machine modifications at the jobsite, this includes but is not limited to material fabrication, assembly, and modification of equipment on jobsite assignments- Perform service repairs and related projects in-house when not working on field assignments.Base salary, overtime and a sign on bonus of $2500. - Medical/dental/vision 1st of the month after hire date- Generous PTO accrual- Travel bonuses- 100% employee owned plus 401k with company match Job 57421
