About The Role:
At Boston Scientific, the Field Service Technician II is responsible for the maintenance of medical equipment offered by Boston Scientific. Services are predominantly provided for customers in hospitals, outpatient facilities, and physician s offices. Your territory would include New York, New Jersey, and Canada.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
- System installation.
- Preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Equipment upgrades.
- Electronic troubleshooting & component replacement.
- In-servicing/training biomedical and medical personnel.
- Presenting Service Program options and value proposition.
- Reporting of field activities.
- Mentoring colleagues and special projects as assigned.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 75% travel US and Canada.
Required Qualifications:
- Two-year college degree (AA) preferred with a Biomedical or electronics major (equivalent education accepted)
- Excellent computer networking, equipment troubleshooting, administrative and communication skills
- Familiar with all standard electronic test equipment, including Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers
- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers
- Minimum 4 years field service technician experience with relevant complexity of technology and regulatory environment
