Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.ResponsibilitiesMaintains equipment by completing installation of components and devicesServe existing accounts by analyzing work orders; plan daily travel schedule; investigate complaints, and conduct maintenance testsReceive work requests; study diagrams, drawings and specifications; test systems and components; determine cause of problems and requirements to solve problemsKeeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairsMaintains organized and accurate inventory levels of install equipment and merchandisePlan for upcoming field jobs; keep tools and test equipment completeDocuments service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsFault isolating and troubleshootingMaintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvementsManage competing priorities in a complex environmentUse appropriate security and safety proceduresAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Some college preferredBICSI Certification a plus 3 years minimum experience requiredSkills & AbilitiesVisio and AutoCAD a plusAnalytical and problem solving skillsInterpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and support personnelAbility to convey a professional image and deal confidently with technical problemsExcellent customer service, telephone, and verbal communication skillsAbility to read schematic drawingsAbility to work on a flexible scheduleAbility to utilize test equipment and hand tools to perform workAbility to maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidentialTravel75% of the time on short noticeEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Some college preferredBICSI Certification a plus 3 years minimum experience requiredTravel75% of the time on short noticeWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs401K plans with employer-matching contributionsTuition reimbursementPTOPaid holidaysVolunteer time offFor more information about benefits, please go to: is an EEO/AA Employer.
